Hello, my name is Bill Daragan, I am the Chief Executive Officer at Techy, a platform that fixes, resells, and installs used electronic gadgets such as smartphones, laptops, and desktops. I come with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, starting as an entrepreneur to owning multiple franchises and companies across the country and worldwide.

Experimax and LifeSaver are two of the recently acquired companies that will help Techy acquire and expand or expanding its roots across the world. Over the course of my career, I established strong ties with Walmart by buying multiple franchises across the United States, Canada, and Chile. Additionally, I also take keen interest and invest in residential and commercial real estate projects.

I firmly believe that passion and ambition are two essential ingredients for the recipe of success – and this is what has helped drive unprecedented growth in several businesses. I work in a 24,000-square-foot headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. The majority of my time is devoted to developing high-level corporate strategies that give guaranteed results, like increasing the value of a firm. It is imperative to understand that profitability doesn’t just happen overnight. It requires an ongoing understanding of the market and the larger context in which a business operates. As a business leader, I make sure to be actively involved in everyday business operations and maintain an open line of communication with the employees.

Entrepreneurship has always been my passion. Hence, I started my entrepreneurial journey at the young age of nine. Even as a child, I had the drive and determination to make it big in the corporate world. I started saving at a young age, and by the time I was graduating from high school, I had saved enough to be able to purchase a wholesale cell phone accessory company in 2008. Within a year of putting my ideas into action, my sales skyrocketed. But that wasn’t it for me – I had bigger ambitions. Next, I enlisted the aid of my cousin Timothy Phelps (now COO of Techy) and ventured into the computer repair industry. We expanded our business exponentially owing to the high demand of phone repairs.

Over the years, we have established long-term trusting relationships with our clients and workers (or team workers, as we prefer to say) effectively. Building my business from the ground up has shaped me as a skilled leader and multitasker, honing a wide variety of skills and acquiring a wealth of insight. My peers would describe me as a problem-solver who believes in taking risks while being organized, hence, making the most of his time. I enjoy learning new things and would like the sky to be the limit for my accomplishments. I have long-term aspirations and objectives that I hope to fulfill, one of which is to grow exponentially and double my assets every decade.

Outside of work, I like to take life with a spoonful of gratitude, cherishing it every step of the way. I support my family and friends in whatever capacity I can. Nothing matters more to me than my family. I’m a devoted husband and a dad to two beautiful children. When I am not working, you can usually find me spending some quality time with them.

The lessons we learn as business owners frequently serve as stepping stones to greater success in the future. The fact that I have the freedom to grow, learn, and take on leadership roles in many aspects of my life is a striking illustration of this principle.
